Almost home....

Cameron has off for a few days, so when Serg and I were headed home he decided he was going to drive to Richmond to visit his girlfriend. Since we were both headed the same way, I rode with Cam, and we got a chance to really talk. We had such a good time together. Once we got to Richmond we stopped by Brittani's house and then took them both to dinner. After dinner we headed home...in a snow storm. Only took 6 hours to get home! YIKES!

Fort Bragg: Part 2

Since it rained the ENTIRE time we were down there, I'm glad that I planned only indoor activities. I found this great indoor rock wall online before we left. Serg loves to rock climb and hasn't been since he left Colorado. It was nice to see him happy doing something he loves. Him and my brother had a great time!!

Fort Bragg

This bust of COL(R) Aaron Bank (founder of Special Forces) was made for him on his 100th birthday. Sergio was there during the unveiling of the bust in California in 2002. It was sent to the museum after the unveiling. It was cool that he finally got to see it at the museum.

Well this weekend Serg and I headed to Fort Bragg to go to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Cameron was able to meet us here and we're having a great time! I'm adding a few pictures from today at the museum and tonight at dinner. Spending time with my family is best thing ever! To me they are the most amazing people in the world. We love each other because we're family, but we really enjoy eachother also...which is something not all families have. I'm so so blessed!

Well today we celebrate the anniversaries of 2 of the most handsome men serving our country!

A year ago today my brother stepped foot on Parris Island to begin his journey of becoming a Marine! Today he is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. proudly serving!

Valentine's Day 2009

Well Serg has been out of town all week and left again very early this morning. He was only home for Valentine's Day. My brother had a 96'er and was able to come home for a visit. We spent the whole day at my parents and had a great time!

Cupcakes for Soldiers

In December I made cookies for deploying soldiers that Serg was teaching. I got such good feedback, and since he was headed up for Fort Dix again, I decided to make cupcakes. It was a big hit and everyone liked them. My family is so appreciative of those serving our country. I'm thankful that my husband is able to stay home with me. Its the least I can do for those men and women defending my freedom!
