Cookies!!

Chocolate chip!
Peanut butter cookie with Reese's cups!
Peanut Butter Cookies!
All put together!
This awesome tin my mom gave me!!

Tomorrow Serg will be leaving for Fort Dix, NJ. He will be training soldiers who will be deploying shortly. These soldiers won't have the opportunity to spend Christmas with their families. I decided to bake cookies for them. I am so grateful for men and women who choose a job path that would take them from their families and children.....for my freedom. I am so thankful that I will have my husband and brother home for the holidays.

2nd Annual Gingerbread Making with the Gursky Kids

Serg helping Jake.
I think Jake ate more icing than he actually put on the train!
Eating one of the gingerbread men
All done!

Last night Serg and I headed to my cousins house for the 2nd annual gingerbreads with her three kids, Colton, Gillian and Jacob. The boys made a train and Gillie and I made a house. We had a really great time with them. After making the "ginger man breads" as Gillie calls them, we made peanut butter cookies, had pizza and watched KungFu Panda. It was an awesome night! I love spending time with the kids!!

Biggest, Brightest Full Moon of 2008

This was what we saw when we looked up from our deck tonight! It was actually casting shadows in our backyard! There are amazing details in photo. You can actually see a few craters! Tonight was the closest the moon has been since 1993 at 221,560 miles from Earth!

AAMC Lights on the Bay

Since we're located so close to Annapolis, home of the Naval Academy, they did a tribute to the sailors....they were throwing there hats! So cool!

Those lights in the distance are the Bay Bridge.
The Bay Bridge again....
Us in front of a crab. Maryland Blue Crabs are a symbol of the bay area where we live!
Tonight Serg and I went to the 14th Annual Anne Arundel Medical Center presents Lights on the Bay. It was located at Sandy Point State Park, right on the Chesapeake Bay. We had a great time and saw a lot of pretty designs!

First Army Division East Annual Christmas Party

Command Sergeant Major Dean, Mrs. Dean, Mrs. Bednarek & Major General Bednarek
LTC McBride (Chaplain) praying before we eat - Serg served with him at 10th Group at Fort Carson, CO. It's pretty neat that they're serving together again on the opposite side of the country!!

Kenzie and Daddy relaxing after we got home!
Thursday night Sergio and I attended the annual Christmas dinner for his unit. We brought homemade carrot cake and tortillas for the potluck style feast. We had a great time!!

Benji

While Serg was getting ready for his tattoo, I took a few minutes to photograph our cat Benji...

Serg's First Tattoo

Serg gave himself his first tattoo tonight....and I helped a little. It is of an Aztec Eagle.
